Clemex
announced this month the sale of its second Clemex MaestroScope
Robotic Imaging System to Belgium-based INVE Technologies
NV. The system will be used for the analysis of Artemia
in sea plankton. Defined as a collection of small or microscopic
organisms, plankton floats and drifts in fresh or salt
water serving as food for fish and other larger organisms.

need to scroll through menus and menus of parameters presented
in text format on a small display. The Saphir’s large touch
screen LCD allows operators to easily control the head’s
functionality. Programming of the head is made instantaneous by
simply touching graphical icons along with a rotating knob for

of the Month
How can
I make sure that the Shading Corrector
is correct?
In the Display Toolbar at the top of the
Image Window click on the Pseudo Color
button. The Pseudo Color LUT (Look Up Table)
assigns a different color to each gray
level, making it easier to see even slight
differences in gray level intensity.
