Characterization of WC – Co alloys

The mounted samples of tungsten-carbide particles with cobalt binder are submitted. Clemex Vision system is chosen to isolate and characterize the WC particles.

PURPOSE

Demonstrate the ability of the Clemex Vision image analysis system discriminate and measure all WC particles in the field of view. The methods and operations used are discussed in the report linked at the bottom of this page (click the Download PDF link below).

RESULTS

The length distribution and area of WC particles are determined in current analysis.
